Golden Garden Hotel

The room is big n modern. Near bus station. The staff are friendly. Close to anywhere.

First day we came the toilet couldn’t flash well, but the staff fix it in the morning n everything went well. Glad they can fix it. Fast response.

Good staff. Nice amenities. Nice hotel breakfast options.

Mostly clean. Great staff. Free breakfast.

Minor complaints: 1) The hall way smells like water damage or water leakage. 2) Random elephant in room looks displaced and kinda rusty. 3) Location not bad, but seems a bit random.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quite convenient!

It may need air purifier because I seemed to smell mold on the first floor.

The room was nice and spacious and equipped with everything. We loved the view! Breakfast was just what you need. Definitely worth the money. Also close to most amenities, we mainly walked everywhere and only used Uber for further away places. We will be back!

Cupboard space was a bit limited so we just kept our clothes in our bags. WiFi was unbearably slow, and unfortunately I had to work, so had to hotspot my mobile device.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower. Close to the train station and 7-11s. Although you'd be hard pushed to find somewhere that isn't close to a 7-11 in Taipei :)Reasonable breakfast as well.

Couldn't turn the TV volume up or down.

We really enjoyed the stay. We stayed only for one night at the end of our Taiwan trip with two kids (3,6 y.o.). The front desk staff noticed our kids liked Pokemon and gave them 2 cards and talked with us. It was their favourite stay during our travels :)

Room is not with fresh air and very stuffy No Bedet toilet .. in the rooms .. Now a days public toilet also have the kind of facilities as basic ..

Very convenient location.The room is clean, neat and quiet.

The wifi is quite unstable, always disconnected.And there’s no cup for teeth brushing.

Location is walking distance by train station.The room is clean but they alwys put us in the same room in each stay.

This is the 4th time we book this hotel but this is the 1st time we encountered a rude staff. We missed to reserve parking and since our car is big it cannot fit the underground parking. We are okay to park outside however this rude staff just shoo us away since we did not pay for the parking. Didn't even give us some suggestion for outside parking. He just said no pay no parking. Please improve the breakfast selection as well. Simple scrambled egg is much appreciated.

4 person room is a little bit narrow. It will be great if the hotel can install some jacket hook and provide small details item like toothbrush cup, dimmable night light, and extra towel hanger for 4 person room. Understand that no toiletries are provided but at least a dedicated place for guests to put their items.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast is good and easy access to main attractions area within 15-20 minutes by car or public transport.

No heater in the room. It is freezing cold during winter time and the floor is tile no carpet. Hotel not providing any slippers for consideration. Sound system is poor , you can hear the next room guest talking and TV sound.

Bed was comfortable, location pretty good, staff was friendly and cooperative, besides the payment over all uncomplicated and decent.

Upon entering the room, I was shocked to not have any toilet paper available. Not having a bathtub for this price range and no hand soap available at the sink was disappointing. One of the free necessity packages in the drawer was empty. Speaking of the price range, daily and automatic house keeping should definitely be a must for this price, very disappointing. The storage space for clothes etc. is very limited, it is barely enough for a few clothes. The fridge was loud at night. Upon checking in there was a big confusion about the payment, since I‘ve already had the payment reserved 7 days before my arrival, yet, instead of (as they told me at the counter) authorizing the previous payment, they subtracted a new purchase canceling the previous one causing discreptancy with my bank and the previously reserved amount. It was a very big hassle, eventhough my bank was at fault too. At least the hotel staff was friendly and cooperative.

400m away from mrt. After a long journey, not so convenient to push a big luggage to reach the hotel

Very friebdly and helpful staff. Good location easy access to all places we wanted to go using public transport whichbis cheap.

The breakfast vegetarian egg and fish eaters choice could have had more variety. There was only one choice of cereal.

Modern and spacious rooms. Breakfast was decent selection. Staff were nice.

Location - a bit further out from centre so not much shops and restaurants around. Hotel is fairly close to underground station though.

The staffs were so friendly and helpful, they always helps us to find a taxi. The room is so clean and spacious. Will definitely come back. Best hotel.
